Hybrid is the hardest format in events. The online audience is usually larger than the room and gets treated as an afterthought: a camera pointed at a stage, the PA feed for audio, remote speakers appearing as a grey Teams rectangle. The stream looks like CCTV and the online delegates quietly leave.
We design hybrid events from the stream backwards. Cameras framed for screens, a dedicated stream audio mix with proper returns for remote contributors, presenters briefed to address the lens as well as the hall, and interaction that works in both places at once. On site, our crew works alongside your venue AV or takes the whole technical delivery; the gallery can be in the room or in the cloud. Most importantly, one of our video HODs is the single technical point of contact across venue, streaming and platform — the person whose job is owning the gaps.

Can you work with the venue's in-house AV team?
Yes, and we usually do. We agree the audio split, camera feeds and connectivity with them in writing before the day, and our HOD coordinates on site.
How do remote speakers appear in the room?
On the room screens as a full-frame source, with their audio through the PA and a return so they can see and hear the hall. It's rehearsed in the tech run.
Do you need to bring a full gallery to the venue?
Not always. For many hybrid events a compact contribution kit sends the room to a cloud gallery, reducing crew on site.
What does a hybrid conference cost?
Typically £5,000–£15,000+VAT for a single-room, one-day hybrid conference with full production; multi-room and multi-day scale from there.
